Christmas Morning

It was a wonderful Christmas 2009. In the morning we heard the kids start talking and we wondered how long it would take them to come in and tell us to get up so they could open presents. Hannah soon came in because she found the one piece Sponge Bob pj's that Santa had left on her bed and she had to put them on. Scott and I then got up and the kids sat very anxiously on the couch while Scott got Payton out of bed. Once Payton was with us we got started.
The kids were absolutely thrilled about the gifts they received, especially Hannah and Dallin. They both got their very own Nintendo DS's. So, now all four of them can play together; that is what they spent most of the day doing.

Christmas Cookies

The kids wanted to decorate the several dozen sugar cookies I had made. So, on Christmas Eve that is what they did!

Christmas Story

At Christmas time Scott's parents like to have all the grandchildren come over for a very yummy Christmas dinner and to have them play out the birth of Jesus. This year Dallin was a shepherd, Payton was the baby Jesus and Hannah wore red to represent the sacrifice that Jesus made for all of us.

Dallin's 2009 Pre-School Christmas Program

Barneck Pre-School put on their annual Christmas program. Dallin we thought almost was not going to be a part of it, he did not want to be a pepermint stick, he wanted to be a light like his friends. Later in the week we found out that he had chosen to be wooden soilder and he was the best one of course! Dallin also is a very good singer. We also needed to have Payton sit on Santa's lap for the first time.
